Pune (Maharashtra) [India], February 27: In a significant step towards self-reliance in toy manufacturing, Sashakt Toytech Pvt. Ltd. has launched the Power Puzzle Game, an innovative and educational toy designed and made in India. This marks the first in a series of high-quality, locally produced toys aimed at reducing dependence on imports and promoting India’s toy-making capabilities.

Despite being a major consumer of toys, India’s toy production has remained underdeveloped, with the market dominated by imported products. Sashakt Toytech is set to change this by ensuring that Indian children have access to world-class, locally made toys. The company prioritises locally sourced materials and adheres to global safety and quality standards.

The company envisions a “Sashakt Bharat” (Empowered India), where locally made toys contribute not only to children’s cognitive development but also to national economic growth. By promoting indigenous craftsmanship and creating employment opportunities, particularly for women, the company aims to drive a sustainable transformation in the industry.

The inspiration behind this initiative traces back to 2022, when Aman Singh, Founder and Director of Sashakt Toytech, encountered a thought-provoking moment in a toy shop. A young boy, after picking up a toy marked ‘Made in China’ asked his mother, “Am I also made in China?” This innocent yet profound question deeply resonated with Singh, motivating him to establish a company making toys in India.

Says Mr. Singh: “Our mission is simple: We want India to become self-sufficient in toy manufacturing while providing children with innovative and educational toys. The Power Puzzle Game is just the beginning. Our vision is to create a host of toys that support skill development and creativity. We are committed to making India a global hub for toy production and have many more exciting games in the pipeline.”

The Power Puzzle Game is an innovative and engaging puzzle that stimulates critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Aman Singh’s journey from running a small rented toy shop in 2017 to leading an emerging toy manufacturing company exemplifies perseverance and vision. His deep understanding of the Indian market has positioned Sashakt Toytech as a brand that educates, inspires and empowers through play.

Beyond strengthening the domestic toy industry, Sashakt Toytech aims to position Indian-made toys as formidable competitors to global brands.

As the brand continues to grow, it calls upon parents, educators and policymakers to support homegrown innovation. By choosing Indian-made toys, they can contribute to a self-reliant India while cultivating creativity and learning in children.
